Come along to the Annual Parish Meeting on 30th May, at 6 pm, at Innsworth Community Hall. All are welcome, and you will find out about the work of the Council and what is happening in Innsworth. See the Documents section of this website for the Agenda and Chairman’s Report.
The Council meeting scheduled for 16th May has been cancelled. This is because another election will be held for Parish Councillors. If you are interested in standing please contact the Clerk on firstname.lastname@example.org. Following the election the first Council meeting will probably take place at the end of June.

The Council has changed its schedule of meetings. The majority of these will now be held on the last Thursday of the month, at 6 pm (at Innsworth Community Hall). The Council is working on a number of interesting projects and welcomes Residents to attend. The Agenda for the meeting is to be found under the Documents tab.
Ahoy ! New play equipment is coming soon – a pirate ship and other items, all suitable for very young children. . The total project cost is £29,000 approx, and is jointly funded by the Parish Council and Pocket Parks Plus. We’re really looking forward to seeing it in place – have a look at the notices on this website to see an illustration.

A Parish Council meeting is being held on Tuesday, 19th February to consider planning applications relating to the Land North of Innsworth Lane. There are a number of applications including for the Site Wide Master Plan, Condition Discharge and Reserved Matters.
The meeting will be held at Innsworth Community Hall at 7 pm and residents are very welcome. Hard copies of the Plans will be on display.

The Council always welcomes attendance by members of the public at Council meetings and there is a section at the beginning for public participation, so please come along and give us your views.

Innsworth Gateway Project – find out more!
Anyone wanting to know more about the new roundabout on the A40 Gloucester Northern Bypass between Elmbridge and Longford is welcome to attend a further drop-in session being run at Innsworth Community Hall from 3pm to 5.30pm on Wednesday 9 January, 2019.
The Innsworth Gateway Project was introduced to support housing development at Innsworth. A key element of the project is also an upgrade Longford Roundabout, increasing its capacity to accommodate predicted future traffic flows and helping to relieve existing congestion.
The drop-in session will include:
- Sketches of the designs
- Funding information
- A description of the build proposal
- An indication of the timing and duration of build
At the event, members of the public will have the opportunity to review the proposed improvements to the A40 and ask questions.
The Public Consultation on the Neighbourhood Plan for Churchdown and Innsworth has been extended to 11th December, so there is still time to make a response. You can do this online on the Plan website: https://churchdownandinnsworthplan.co.uk/

The Plan is important as it is our chance to influence future development in Innsworth, and have a say in the community facilities which will be provided.
